Artist Statement
My art practice embraces my daily life, my home, my backyard, my neighborhood. I love following a visual story as it unfolds before my eyes, and I love to paint my stories using a modern vocabulary, emphasizing simplicity and clarity. I mostly use watermedia, but at certain times when the subject matter calls for it I switch to oils.
