_I was born & raised on Vancouver Island and I love the west coast! Through my photographs and montage artwork, I seek to capture the essence of our beautiful landscape. From misty rain to autumnal sun, the endless shifting light continues to fascinate me. My artwork distills a remembered experience into a composition of interwoven images and textures. I observe the light, colour, and atmosphere of the landscape which I interpret in the creation of something new -- remembering as an inventive activity.
