OPEN Tuesday to Sunday 11-5 Hidden Gems at ARTS OFF MAIN Arts Off Main Gallery’s mission statement has always been to offer accessible and affordable art. We have a large and varied selection of reproductions but you will also find a variety of original oil, acrylic and watercolour paintings on display. Using different techniques and materials our artists’ works range from realism to abstraction appealing to a wide variety of collectors. Could one of these affordable originals one day find themselves hanging in a museum? We think so! Come explore our walls and find your diamond in the rough. When she was 6 she removed a glass shelf from her family’s refrigerator and painted on it. Although she was not pleased with the results (and neither was her father), it started her on the career path she has followed for the past 50 years.  NJ says she loves everything about glass…the colours, the transparency that catches the light and the smooth and shiny surface of the opaque glass. She respects “the challenge of an unforgiving material” that artists and artisans have been using for over 1,000 years.  As she was developing her skills, Norma Jean travelled to the US to get experience in several glass studios where she developed her own style and techniques. Over her career NJ has taught hundreds of students to work with glass.  When you visit the gallery you can see a  variety of Norma Jean’s work including leaded glass panels, fused glass trays, magnets and tiles, and a wonderful tree full of coloured glass stars. We are having an Open House! Grandview Park will be hosting, “Spaghetti Disco”, featuring wine, pasta, and music while our Open House next door will feature coffee, sweets, and art. Lots of art! Thanks from Eileen, Ronn, Gary, Graham, Thomas, Norma Jean, Lee, Haike and Sascha. We hope to see you soon! Copyright © 2026 Arts Off Main Gallery, All rights reserved.
