OPEN HOUSE Invitation If you missed our last OPEN HOUSE, you will be glad to know we are having another one! Come and meet the ARTS OFF MAIN artists and browse unique paintings, handcrafted jewelry, and ceramics - all locally made. Light refreshments will be served. See us on your way to or from dinner in Vancouver’s Vibrant Commercial Drive neighbourhood. Save the date!  Friday September the 19th Creative Spotlight Arts Off Main has always had a wide selection of hand crafted local jewelry and in this newsletter we want to introduce you to several outstanding collections of new works that have come to the gallery in the past month. Sonia D’Ambra has designed and produced unique rings, bracelets, pendants and earrings. She sees jewelry as not merely ornamentation but as a vehicle for personal expression. Born and raised in Rome, Sonia has been creating jewelry since she was a teenager. Sales of her early work financed backpacking trips across Europe. Sonia earned a doctorate in Civil Engineering in Italy and since emigrating to Vancouver she has been working in the mining industry as a rock mechanics engineer. Through her professional work Sonia has expanded her knowledge of metals and minerals which has informed her jewelry design practice. Rock Sung Chan Leung works with wire to create complex bracelets, rings and earrings. Weaving and twisting copper wire into astonishing and beautiful patterns, Rock has brought us a bright and beautiful collection of new work. Stephane Savoie is creating a unique hometown collection of enamelled pins and we are excited to have the first 4 of them at ARTS OFF MAIN Gallery. From the DTES to the Heights in Burnaby, these classic signs, presented on mini maps of Vancouver, are ready to add local colour to your winter wardrobe. Thanks from Eileen, Jan, Gary, Graham, Thomas, Norma Jean, Lee, Haike and Sascha. We hope to see you soon! Copyright © 2026 Arts Off Main Gallery, All rights reserved.
