Welcome to our new partner GRAHAM WATTS! Vancouver’s thriving art scene welcomes a new voice as local artist Graham Watts becomes the newest partner at Arts Off Main Gallery. Known for his vibrant oil paintings, Watts brings a deep connection to the West Coast through his depictions of wildlife, cityscapes, and the rugged landscapes that define British Columbia. Currently on display at Arts Off Main, Watts’ collection features striking portraits of wolves and bears, dramatic vistas of Vancouver’s skyline, and the towering peaks of the local mountains. His work captures not just the beauty of these subjects but their spirit — vivid, powerful, and full of life. Each piece invites viewers to experience the wild essence of the West Coast through bold colours and dynamic brushwork. Adding a unique touch to his collection, Watts is showcasing a series of small panel artworks created with an innovative mix of acrylic paint and coffee grounds. These textured panels offer a raw, organic feel that complements the natural subjects he portrays, adding another layer of depth to his artistic expression. “I am thrilled to be part of this energetic gallery in Vancouver that supports our arts community,” says Watts. As he continues to explore new techniques and push the boundaries of his work, Watts' partnership with Arts Off Main promises to bring fresh energy to the gallery’s collective spirit and its ongoing mission to celebrate local talent. STUDIO CLEAROUT SALE Our neighbourhood garage sale day is also our studio clear out day. Once a year the AOM artists look around their studios, channel Marie Kondo, and clear the decks to make space for new work. On June 21st from 10 to 2 our annual Studio Clear Out Sale will feature art at discount rates and gently used art supplies at bargain prices. This is an outdoor event that will be postponed if it’s raining. CATS OF VANCOUVER Eileen Mosca’s watercolour and ink exploration of our city and the cats who call it home is on exhibit at the gallery for the month of June. Fifteen percent of all sales will be donated to VOKRA (the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association), a volunteer driven non profit organization that rescues, treats and finds homes for abandoned cats in our city. Dreaming of the City Art Lovers at the Gallery Crossing the Burrard Bridge CREATIVE SPOTLIGHT SARAH GROVES is a metalsmith/ jeweller (and former printmaker) working with copper, silver, gold and gemstones to create unique jewellery and small sculptural pieces. Her career has followed an interesting path. After getting a Ph.D in Zoology and working as an environmental planner for the City of Burnaby, Sarah turned her passion into her career, graduating from the Jewelry Art and Design program at Vancouver Community College and taking advanced jewelry studies at the Revere Academy in San Francisco. She set up Blue Box Design, her production studio where she has worked full time in addition to teaching for 12 years at VCC in the Jewelry Program in Continuing Studies. Sarah’s experience as a printmaker and ecologist influences her designs, many of which are inspired by natural objects. Her creations range from small jewelry pieces to large sculpture installations such as The Copper Kelp Forest, exhibited at the Craft Council of B.C. on Granville Island. Thanks from Eileen, Jan, Gary, Graham, Thomas, Norma Jean, Lee, Haike and Sascha. We hope to see you soon! Copyright © 2026 Arts Off Main Gallery, All rights reserved.
