Ronn Martin

Ronn is a painter of many subjects but has a particular interest in the forests, islands and shorelines of BC. Spending much of the time in Haida Gwaii and being in awe over the raw beauty of the ever-changing landscape. There is a silent harmony in nature that cries out to be seen. The tangled vines, fallen trees and the light that fights its way through the dense chaos of untouched growth come together in an explosion of color that can not be ignored.


Ronn Has called Vancouver home for the past 45 years. Having studied art in Ontario he has worked as a prop master, Illustrator and writer and his clients have included Disney Studios, Coke, Pepsi and YTV.


Artist Statement
Art, more than anything else, should be unpredictable. Just like the artist, the work, the subject and the process is always evolving. It is an expression of a moment in time seen through the yes of the artist.
